Uninstalled
Kipside is gone.
Your clips went with it. Chrome removed the extension's local storage when it removed the extension, and there was never a copy anywhere else — no account, no server, nothing to delete on our end.
If something was broken
Four problems account for nearly all of them, and three have quick fixes:
- Nothing was being captured. Kipside asks for no site access at install, so it doesn't save what you copy until you allow a site. That trips up a lot of people.
- Screenshots said a permission was needed. The panel button needs access to all sites; the ⌥⇧S shortcut needs nothing and always works.
- Dragging didn't work somewhere. It won't everywhere — web editors differ. Clicking a clip copies it, and pasting works in every app.
- Clips disappeared. They expire after 7 days unless pinned.
All four are covered properly on the support page, if you'd rather give it another go.
If you'd tell us why
We'd genuinely like to know — especially if it was slow, confusing, or just not what you expected. hello@kipside.site.
No survey, no follow-up sequence. One email, read by a person.
No hard feelings
A clipboard tool asks for unusual trust, and deciding not to extend it is a perfectly reasonable call. Thanks for trying it.
